Republican candidate Mitt Romney dropped out of the race today. After Romney's disappointing show on Super Tuesday, Mitt Romney believed it was time to drop out of the race. He said that he believes if he were to stay in the race any longer, it would only help Clinton and Obama. Now that the "conservative's conservative" is out of the race, do you think this guarantees Senator McCain the republican nomination? Or do you think that any of the other candidates stand a chance?

Honestly, I think that McCain has the nomination. It is true that conservatives question McCain's record as a "conservative", but he still has the majority of Republican support. Plus, if McCain becomes the nominee, he won't have to bend to the will of uber-conservatives and the religious right because its not like those people are going to vote for either Obama or Hillary instead of McCain.
Where do Romney's delegates go? It would be a waste if they just disappeared because McCain is so far ahead of Huckabee that I agree with Kaitlyn that McCain has basically got it down.
Good thing Romney dropped out. He was just emptying his pockets by staying in the race.
I think McCain's going to win the nomination without much trouble, but I expect Mike Huckabee to put up a respectable fight.
I know how Romney has been getting a lot of news coverage for dropping out of the race, but I still find it funny that Ron Paul is still remaining in the Republican primary. He currently only has 16 delegates. I suppose it's noble of Paul to stay in the race to spread his policy ideas, but it kind of seems like a waste of money to me.
