I came across this political cartoon which is about Clinton getting alot of help from her husband in this election campaign. I thought this was relevant because the other day I saw from an article that said during one debate, Obama made a comment about Clinton getting help from her husband, that he couldn't tell who he was running against sometimes. Is Bill doing too much that it is actually hurting Hillary's image than helping?

Yeah. I definitely think President Clinton needs to back down. He was very popular, but it seems almost as if the two of them (Bill and Hillary) are running against Obama... And then there's the fact that during the debates Edwards was basically forgotten; Hillary and Barack were spending the whole debate arguing w/ eachother. Edwards isn't in this cartoon for a reason... the media likes to focus on the battles btw two candidates.
I agree with Angela. Even though it's great to have popular and famous people to back you up, there can be too much backing up. I think it's hard for Bill to be separated from Hillary because he was a president and a really good one, however controversial his affair was. Also, if Bill wasn't campaigning for her, I think she would be criticized for not using her easily available resources, like her husband. Also, I watched clips on the news showing Bill campaigning for Hillary, and he uses himself a lot. He says "When I was president, I did this..." I think this has upset many people because they felt that he's just bragging about himself. However, I think he's trying to show that when he was president, he did a great job and fixed many problems (which are similar to todays), and that Hillary will, too. But, this might come across as being arrogant and bragging. But, people really like Bill, and he’s obviously bringing people to his campaign stops, and the more people who come and support you, the better.
Hmmm... What about Oprah supporting Obama then? If I remember correctly, Obama also went through this type of heat when Oprah said she supported him.
