This is a CNN video about a superintendent who goes around door-to-door during school hours to find kids that cut class. Only in Colorado? There must be a serious problem in the Aurora district or else they wouldn't be doing this, but it still seems kind of sketchy. While you are required by law to go to school, having someone show up at your house doesn't seem fair. At the very least, it doesn't seem like effective use of school resources. Do you think Aragon has a serious enough problem with habitual truants to warrant this kind of activity? Or is this.... unconstitutional? Opinions?
And for the ironic news of the day, here is a report, also from CNN. Just read it.

They must be having a really bad problem if they are going resort to this. It reminds me of the movie Ferris Buellers Day Off with the principal. Which was a great movie by the way.
I think that this is funny... he must not have much to do at school becuase he has so much time to run around after kids who dont want to be there. Aragon doesn't really have that much of a problem with cutting. The problem is there but if the kids don't want to be there, chasing them around is just going to make an old principal look even older.
PS I agree with Robbie; Ferris Buellers is a great movie...we should watch it...in class... instead of the Ch 10 test (just a suggestion Mr. Silton)
The punishment for cutting should be that you don't get to learn.
stay in drugs don't do school
